Alex Macqueen up for Evening Standard Best Actor

Alex Macqueen as Roy Tunt in The Hide

Alex Macqueen has been nominated in the Best Actor category of the London Evening Standard British Film Awards, for his performance in Indie-thriller The Hide.

 

Alex plays the lead role of Roy Tunt, a prissy ornithologist who, when birdwatching on the Norfolk Broads, becomes the unwilling host to a tough, gun-toting fugitive. The Hide is directed by Marek Losey

 

The award judges are Standard critics Derek MalcolmAndrew O'Hagan and Charlotte O'Sullivan with Tim Robey of The Daily Telegraph and Catherine Shoard of The Guardian. The winners will be announced at the London Film Museum on 8 February.
