I work with Lily Williams representing a list of playwrights, television and film screenwriters and film-makers. Our primary objective is to offer intelligent, practical management to our clients in order to maximize their careers in the theatre, film and television industries both in the UK and across the world (particularly in the US).
I believe that writers and directors benefit from a strong advocate: someone to identify and explore work opportunities for them and also to achieve astute, robust and reliable commercial arrangements on their behalf.
While we are lucky to look after a collection of highly talented and successful clients, we always want to find new, original and engaging writers (particularly from the theatre) and film-makers.
I joined in 1997 with Nick Marston to start up the new theatre, film and television department. Previously, I worked with Nick at AP Watt after graduating with a degree in Modern History from Oxford University.
In 2002, I became a director of Curtis Brown. In 2006 I took over as Curtis Brown's Chief Operating Officer and in 2012 I became Joint CEO. I am a director of CUBA Pictures and a member of BAFTA.
Away from work, I mainly worry about the fortunes of the England cricket team and Manchester City Football club.
