Ben Lewis

Ben is a writer for theatre, radio and TV and also works as a stage director.

He has written two plays for Radio 4, Tiny and Blue Sky Thinking, and is currently developing a comedy series in collaboration with Catherine Shepherd.

With Dafydd James, he created the award-winning music theatre show My Name Is Sue and the pair have just written and toured a new musical The Village Social for the National Theatre of Wales.

Ben is also joint artistic director of theatre company Inspector Sands, co-creating their two award-winning shows; If That’s All There Is and Hysteria which have toured extensively in the UK and to countries including the USA, China, Russia, Germany, Romania and Armenia. The company is currently developing a third show, Mass Observation.
