Jonny is Managing Director of the books division. He trained as an actor but turned to book agenting in 1993 when he joined Curtis Brown as an assistant.
After making a name for launching new talent into the mainstream, he has built a list of award-winning and bestselling authors. Jonny's list reflects his wide range of interests - from literary fiction to thrillers, political memoir to polemic, humour to women's commercial fiction. He specialises in mainstream books with an edge and a voice rather than straight genre.
