Abby McDonald is an entertainment critic and novelist from Sussex, England. She studied at Oxford University, graduating in 2006 with a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics and the foolish desire to be a full-time writer. Luckily, she sold her first novel Sophomore Switch (Walker, 2009) for teen readers less than a year later. Her work has been published by the NME, CosmoGirl and Plan B magazines, while her website, PopText, was noted by the Times as one of the best British music blogs.
