Siddharth's first novel, The Last Song of Dusk (W&N), was awarded the 2004 Betty Trask prize for outstanding debut novel by an author under 35 and has been translated into ten languages.

His second book, Lost Flamingoes of Bombay, a darkly beautiful tale about a love affair between an older married woman and a young photographer, was short listed for the 2008 Man Asian Literary Prize.

Siddharth currently lives in Bombay.
