Emily Barr has written for The Observer and The Guardian for several years, and her previous novels Backpack, Baggage, Cuban Heels, Atlantic Shift and Plan B were met with widespread critical acclaim. She lives in the South of France with her husband and two sons.
Emily's latest novel, The Life You Want, is the long-awaited follow-up to Backpack; it's published by Headline in 2009.
