Daniel Clay's short stories have been published in Writers' Forum, The Ashes, Eclectica and World Wide Writers. His debut novel, Broken, was published in the UK by Harper Press (2008) and long-listed for the Desmond Elliott Award as well as being picked as one of the top eight 2008 debut novels by Amazon in the UK. BBC Films have optioned the film rights via Cuba Pictures, who were behind the adaptation of the award winning Boy A.
Daniel teaches creative writing for Writer's News and has also written several articles about his experience of the publication process. His second novel, Swap, is about the consequences of a wife-swap gone wrong and is published by Harper Press in 2009.
