Mark Steel is a renowned writer, broadcaster and stand-up comedian. Four series' of The Mark Steel Lecture have been broadcast on Radio 4 and he has a weekly column in The Independent. He is the author of Reasons to be Cheerful (2002) and Vive La Revolution (2004) and his latest book, What's Going On? is published by Simon & Schuster (2008).
