Kalooki Nights Shortlisted

Howard Jacobson's Kalooki Nights has been shortlisted for the 2007 Jewish Quarterly Wingate Prize.

The prize is sponsored by the Harold Hyam Wingate Foundation and is Britain's only major literary award for Jewish-interest books. Awarded since 1977, the prize recognises work that stimulates an interest in and awareness of themes of Jewish concern among a wider reading public.
