Bridget Deane

Bridget Deane is a writer who works in both comedy and drama and has worked across TV, film and theatre.

Currently she is developing a TV comedy project with Pett Productions and a comedy feature, which was selected for The Big Idea by Shine Pictures/Kudos Pictures. Her recent collaboration with Live Theatre, I Am Legend, a darkly comic monologue, commissioned as part of the ‘Boys on the Edge Season’ was described as “powerful and ultimately tragic” and her award winning short film, The Ball, has been shown at various festivals and made the BAFTA 2012 longlist.

Before becoming a writer, Bridget worked for ten years as a Bafta winning producer/director on network documentaries, both in the UK & US.
