Bruce Duffy


Bruce Duffy is the author of The World as I Found It, a fictional life of Ludwig Wittgenstein which Joyce Carol Oates described as 'one of five great nonfiction novels', Last Comes the Egg and his latest novel, Disaster Was My God, a fictional account of the life of the poet Arthur Rimbaud.

The World as I Found It will shortly be released in The New York Times Review of Book Classics series.

A former Guggenheim fellow, Duffy has won the Whiting Writers' Award and a Lila Wallace-Reader's Digest Award. He lives in Maryland.
