Caroline Overington is a senior writer with The Australian, The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age in New York covering the United Nations and the war on terror. Prior to this she was a sports writer, covering Olympic Sports and tennis. In 2004 she won a Walkley Award for her investigative journalism.
Caroline's first book Only in New York, an uplifting tale of one woman juggling her dream job as a foreign correspondent, the demands of 2-year-old twins, a high-flying husband who can't get a green card, and all the temptations of life in New York, was published by Allen & Unwin in 2006.
Her non-fiction book about the AWB trade scandal, Kickback, was published in May 2007. Her first novel, a thriller entitled Ghost Child, was published by Random House Australia in 2009.
