Charlie Martin is a writer for film and television. After ten years writing Donald Duck comics, his first job writing for television was Channel 4 comedy drama series Teachers - for which he was nominated for a BAFTA as a new writer. 
Since then he has written television programmes ranging from Wild at Heart to Horrible Histories. He created and wrote the critically acclaimed series for ITVTime of Your Life starring Olivia Coleman and Geraldine James.
Charlie is currently writing Doc Martin for Buffalo/ITV1.
