Christine Gernon

Christine has directed some of the most successful comedy series of the last two decades and directed all three series of the BAFTA award winning comedy series, Gavin & Stacey.

In 2010, Christine directed the first series of Grandma's House for Tiger Aspect/BBC2, starring Simon Amstell, which gained a British Comedy Award nomination and in 2012 she returned to direct the second series.

Recent credits include Rebecca Front's Little Cracker for Sky One, 6-part comedy series Hebburn for BabyCow/BBC2 and festive comedy-drama Panto! starring John Bishop for ITV1.

Christine most recently directed 3-part suffragette sitcom Up The Women starring Jessica Hynes for BBC Four which is due to broadcast later this year.
