Brita Sandstrom received her Bachelor of Arts in English Writing from Illinois Wesleyan University. She later earned her Masters Degree in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Hamline University, where she won the Walden Pond Press Scholarship for Excellence in Middle Grade Fiction. She lives in Minneapolis.
