New York Times bestselling author Jancee Dunn grew up in New Jersey.  She writes for many different publications, among them the New York Times, Vogue, Parents, GQ (where she wrote a sex advice column) and O: The Oprah Magazine, where she edited a column on ethical dilemmas.  She was a staff writer at Rolling Stone for fourteen years. She has written five books, among them But Enough About Me, a memoir about her life as a chronically nervous celebrity interviewer and Why Is My Mother Getting A Tattoo? And Other Questions I Wish I Never Had To Ask, a finalist for the James Thurber Prize for American Humor. Most recently she collaborated with Cyndi Lauper for the bestselling Cyndi Lauper: A Memoir, released in 2012.
