Jill Crawford is Northern Irish and used to be an actress. She is a graduate of Oxford University and the National Youth Theatre. In 2017, stories were published by The Stinging Fly and n+1. In 2018, she gained an MA with distinction in Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia, where she received the John Boyne scholarship. She has since published fiction in Winter Papers (Vol 4) and n+1 magazine (winter 2019). A story is forthcoming in Faber's anthology of New Irish Short Stories. She is writing a novel.
