A writer and a translator, his most recent books are Nel cuore della notte (Einaudi 2018) and Le cento vite di Nemesio (e/o 2018, shortlisted for the Premio Strega, due to be published in Holland and Poland). He has translated in Italian Charles Dickens, Mark Twain, Malcolm Lowry, Dave Eggers, Hunter S. Thompson, Gertrude Stein, David Benioff, Percival Everett, James M. Cain, amongst others. He contributes to Vanity Fair, D-Repubblica, Ttl-La Stampa, Rivista Studio and other magazines. He lives in Milan.
