Meg Howrey is the author of the novels The Cranes Dance (2012) and Blind Sight (2011). 

Her non-fiction has appeared in Vogue and the Los Angeles Times Review of Books. She is a former dancer with Joffrey II, and toured nationally with the Broadway production of Contact. She currently lives in Los Angeles.
