Melissa Bubnic is a writer for stage and screen.

Melissa's play Boys Will Be Boys was commissioned and premiered by the Sydney Theatre Company in 2015. It has since been produced by Headlong and the Bush Theatre in London, and by Auckland’s Silo Theatre Company. Her play Beached won the prestigious Patrick White Award from the Sydney Theatre Company and has been staged at Griffin Theatre Company in Sydney, and Soho Theatre in London.

Melissa has written extensively for television on shows like Shameless, Hollyoaks, Crackanory and Delicious. She is developing original shows and adaptations with Carnival and Scott Free, and in the US with Topic and others. She is currently in the writers room on Nautilus for Disney+.
