He also served as Editor of Harper’s, Editorial and Opinion Editor of the Los Angeles Times, and American Editor of The Economist. He has written regular columns for Time Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, the Atlantic, Politico, and The Times of London. His previous books include Creative Capitalism: A Conversation with Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, and other Economic Leaders.
His latest book, Old Age: A Beginner's Guide, was published by Crown in 2016 and will be published in the UK and Commonwealth by Rider in 2017.
