Peggy Hesketh was a student of Elizabeth George,  a former journalist, she is currently assistant course director of composition at the University of California Irvine. She teaches rhetoric and composition, and mentors graduate students in English, Comparative Literature and Creative Writing at UCI. One of Peggy's stories, "A Madness of Two," appeared in the E. George anthology: Two of the Deadliest: New Tales of Lust and Greed from Outstanding Women of Mystery.

Her first novel, Telling the Bees was published in 2013. Peggy is allergic to bees. She says that what she fears is what she finds herself most drawn to, and that, in a nutshell is what this book is about.
