Biography

Sam's short films and music videos have 4.5 million hits on YouTube, and he was recently awarded the Academy’s Nicholl Fellowship for his spec screenplay The Science Of Love And Laughter.

He has a strong comedy background, and his comedy short The Futility Of War had a successful run at festivals across the UK.

His latest projects have moved more towards character-driven stories, often using comedy as a way to dig into complex relationship dynamics.

He is currently developing a high-end US TV drama The Farm with Big Talk, and a TV comedy-drama set in London. His latest short film Windscreenwiperman was featured by Vimeo, Indiewire and Short Of The Week.

Alongside his own projects, Sam has worked as a runner on shows The Hour and Mr Selfridge, as a script reader for the BBC, and in Development at Ealing Studios.
