Poached

book | Fiction | Mar 2014
US & Canada → Simon & Schuster (Ed. Courtney Bongiolatti)
Kazoo the koala is missing! And Teddy Fitzroy is the primary suspect. The only way Teddy can clear his name is to crack the case and bring Kazoo back home to FunJungle where he belongs, all while steering clear of Vance the bully. The second instalment in the FunJungle series, after Belly Up.

Poached is so strong that it is surprisingly second in a series, following 2010’s Belly Up, with only a few lines that refer to past adventures and, better yet, do not give spoilers for an audience that is sure to want to read more... This will appeal to animal and mystery lovers alike.

With ecological concerns, corporate intrigue, and high-power action, this has all of the koala-fications for a an appealing adventure; with Teddy’s inability to keep his head down, it seems possible that we’ll be seeing him again. He’ll be welcome.
