Non-fiction writer

Timothy Knatchbull read Social and Political Science at Cambridge. After ten years as a filmmaker, mostly at BBC television, he studied at Harvard's Kennedy School before spending two years in Washington DC with the Discovery Channel.

From A Clear Blue Sky (Random House, 2009) is his deeply personal account of the IRA bomb aimed at his family in 1979. The book explores the event itself and the repercussions that have echoed over the past 30 years.
