Corinna
graduated from University of Westminster in 1996 with First Class
Honours after completing a Film and Video Arts degree and specialising in cinematography.
She
was given her first opportunity to direct through a Channel 4 competition allowing newcomers to make a 10-minute documentary, after which she went on to make documentaries for all the major channels.
Corinna turned to drama in 2005 after she wrote a short drama script, Ashes,
which was funded by Film London and was nominated for the TCM Classic
Shorts Prize. She went on to write and direct a second project, Care, which was nominated for Best Short Film at the BAFTA Awards 2007 and led to her selection as one of Screen International's Rising Stars.
In 2008, Corinna was selected to take part in IWC/Channel 4's
Coming Up Scheme, for which she wrote and directed her ghost story, The Thai Bride.
