Dafydd is an award-winning writer, composer and performer, working in theatre, radio and television in both English and Welsh.

His first full-length play Llwyth [Tribe] became a Welsh-language cultural phenomenon and established him as one of the most exciting dramatists working in Wales.

His work has been performed across the UK and internationally in Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Sweden, Taiwan and the USA.

Recent credits include: CRACKANORY (Tiger Aspect/Dave); PSYCHOBITCHES (Tiger Aspect/Sky Arts, winner of Rose D'or Award); MOTHER COURAGE (National Theatre Wales); TERRACE (Radio 3) and HERITAGE (National Theatre Connections).

He regularly collaborates with Ben Lewis, and together their creation of 'Sue' (also performed and composed by Dafydd) has won a Total Theatre Award for Music and Theatre.

Current projects include ALL THAT I AM, a play for RWMCD/Sherman Cymru; WONDERMAN, an adaptation of Roald Dahl’s short stories with Gagglebabble, to premiere in Edinburgh next August and JAM, a radio play for Radio 4; He is also developing two original drama series: OBLIVION with Fiction Factory and BEAST with Scott Free productions.
