Daniel
studied graphic design at art college and had a brief career in
computer graphics before turning to screenwriting full time. In
1995, he moved to New York to study film-making at the New York Film
Academy, where he produced his first short film, Finders, Keepers. The short played the international festival circuit and picked up the award for
Best Production at Mesnil-Le-Roi, France, as well as being nominated
for Best Short at the Torino International Film Festival.
Daniel is the founder of Darc Productions, through which he wrote, produced and directed his second short film Absolution, which appeared in numerous international film festivals and won the Silver Remi Award at World Fest Houston.
In 2009, his feature film Do Or Die went into production with Qwerty Films.
