David Gentle

David Gentle is the author and creator of On the Tip of My Tongue, a diverting parlour-game-in-a-book featuring ‘Facts, Curiosities and Games of a Quizzical Nature' - a Christmas bestseller for Bloomsbury in 2007 and perennial seller all around the world ever since.

It was inspired by losing to his sister in a trivia contest on a childhood car trip.

He remains a self-confessed factoholic, and David consults for the IT industry when not composing quizzes. He lives in London with his oft-tested wife and son.
