Canadian author David Layton wrote the acclaimed memoir Motion Sickness (MacFarlane Walter & Ross 1999).

His first novel, The Bird Factory (McClelland & Stewart 2005) is an evocative story about a couple's struggle for a child.

David grew up around the world and now divides his time between Toronto and Barbados.
