Debra Galant

Debra Galant is a former columnist for The New York Times and is now editor-in-chief of the Baristanet.com, a local community blog based in northern New Jersey that gets 9,000 visits daily. Debra has also written for New York Magazine and  New Jersey Monthly, among other national publications.

Rattled (2007), Debra’s first novel, was both a Book Sense pick and a New York Times Editors' Choice selection. Her second novel, Fear and Yoga in New Jersey (2008), was also a Book Sense pick and her latest title, Cars from a Marriage, is publishing in 2010.
