Douglas Rogers is an award- winning journalist and travel writer. He has written for the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, the Washington Post, the Guardian, the Daily Telegraph and Travel & Leisure Magazine.

He was born and raised in Zimbabwe and now lives in Brooklyn, New York, where he teaches travel writing at the Gotham Writers Workshop.
