Dragonfly's aim is simple: to make television that's daring and different.
When asked to make a food programme, they built a restaurant next to an abattoir, replaced the walls in between with glass, and gave their guests a dinner they'll never forget. That was Kill It, Cook It, Eat It. They've blown up one house in How Safe is Your Home and rigged another one with 28 cameras, for four months, to film mum, dad and the kids, as they've never been seen before, in the Bafta-nominated series, The Family.
With just a little help from Jamie Oliver, they created front-page news and a national debate about battery chickens with Jamie's Fowl Dinners. They've won a Bafta for their unprecedented view of the world from a maternity ward, One Born Every Minute. And with Mark Dolan, they've been round the world in search of the planet's most extraordinary people.
Curtis Brown works with Dragonfly, now part of the Shine Group, to develop book projects from its compelling television programming.
