Elizabeth Sheinkman

I represent a broad range of authors with a special interest in literary debut novelists, international fiction, journalism, memoir and cultural history.

An American by birth, I am a graduate of Columbia University and worked within the editorial departments of Oxford University Press and Alfred A Knopf before joining the Elaine Markson Literary Agency in New York where I worked for eight years before coming to London to set up and run its UK branch as Senior Partner and Director. I joined Curtis Brown in 2006. I retain strong ties to the American market and continue to sell all of my authors' work directly in the US.
