Elizabeth Singer Hunt's love of adventure and travel inspired her to create the children's book character, Secret Agent Jack Stalwart: a globe trotting, nine-year-old crime fighter who has been described as a cross between a young Indiana Jones and James Bond. Each story in the steadily growing series (published by Random House Children's Books in the UK and by Weinstein Company in the US) is set in a different country.
Born in New Orleans, Elizabeth moved to the UK in 1999 to study for her MA in Southeast Asian Studies before working as a brand and marketing consultant at Saatchi. She currently lives in San Francisco with her husband and two children.
