Ellen Taylor has worked in various capacities as a storyliner, producer and writer on a range of television shows.
She worked at Sky Television as a drama script editor before moving on to be the lead writer on two series of Sky One / Hewland International's hit series Dream Team.
In 2005 she moved to the BBC, where she worked as the sole storyliner on the BAFTA-winning Series 21 of Casualty and ran the scipt department. This led to a position writing on and running the story department for the following season.
Since then she has been an in-house development producer for the BBC, where she co-created and developed the teen drama series Mirror, Mirror and is currently a writer on Coronation Street for ITV.
