Emma started her comedy career as a stand up comedian, reaching the finals of both So You Think You're Funny and Funny Women in 2005 after only a handful of gigs.

After writing and performing in Where are the Joneses? - the world's first interactive sitcom - she went on to co-write and star in Home Time, a comedy drama series for BBC2.

Emma co-wrote a new sitcom, Festival Boy, a co-production for Rise Films and Sony.

Emma is currently writing two original comedies The Unteachables and Soap - both for Caroline Leddy at Company Television and Channel 4.
