Home Time

Baby Cow Director Christine Gernon

Home Time is a BBC sitcom created by and starring Emma Fryer.

At seventeen Gaynor left Coventry to find her place in the big bad world, unfortunately, that place turned out to be back in Coventry. Now, aged 29, she’s forced to return to her parents’ house, with her tail between her legs and nothing to show for twelve years spent struggling in the wilderness.

[Home Time] is written by, and stars, Emma Fryer, who plays Gaynor with a sensitivity and vulnerability that brings out the comedy brilliantly. First episodes are notoriously hard to do but the team behind Home Time have cracked it.

Clive Tulloh Broadcast

Hold on to your remote control units, Home Time is that dispiritingly rare thing in a new comedy: it's funny.

Brian Viner The Independent

Don't be put off by Home Time's bitter-sweet premise. It is a delight - consistently funny, frequently inspired and very moving.

Harry Venning The Stage

As smart and original as it is sad and funny.
