Eric Felten is the author of the Wall Street Journal’s popular weekly column on cocktails, spirits, and the culture of drinking, “How’s Your Drink?” In 2007 he won the James Beard Foundation Award for best writing on wine and spirits. His book based on the columns was widely praised. Christopher Hitchens wrote that it was “by far the wittiest and the most comprehensive study of the subject since [Kingsley Amis] put down his pen.”
As a graduate student at Harvard, he studied game theory with Nobel Prize winner Thomas Schelling and ethics with noted philosopher John Rawls.
