Frederic Casella

Frederic Casella is a director who learned his craft helming prime-time TV documentaries and factual shows for networks in the UK and USA. Recent observational documentary films for television delve into human/animal relationships to explore marriage, commitment, loss, parenting, social tribes and competitiveness. Frederic often takes on unusual subjects and has worked with alcoholics and narcissists, the famous and the bankrupt; ventriloquists, military leaders and a hippo.

Frederic explores comedy and drama in fiction as well as documentary and his fourth short film Tooty's Wedding (2011) has won a small clutch of awards and screened in competition at the Sundance Film Festival 2012. The short is now being developed as a feature film.
