Gordon Beningfield was a well known artist who specialised in British landscapes, plants and wildlife. He regularly appeared on television and was recognised as one of Britain's leading painters of the countryside.


His art first appeared in book form in 1978 and continued to appear in books, on stamps and in exhibitions until his death in 1998.
