Guy Bass

Guy is an award-winning children's book author, whose children’s books series include Dinkin Dings, Secret Santa: Agent of X.M.A.S., Gormy Ruckles, Alien Invasion! and Alien Escape! In 2010 he won a Blue Peter Book Award for Dinkin Dings and the Frightening Things.

Guy was first published in 2008, and his books have since been translated into eight languages. He has also written a number of plays for both adults and children, including three series of children’s plays for the Stephen Joseph Theatre in Scarborough.

Guy has previously been a theatre producer, illustrator and once acted his way out of a paper bag. The years he spent honing his ‘funny voices’ is finally put to good use recording his audio books. His illustration work includes the Munglers Trumps cards, part of an ongoing reading incentive project in London.

Guy lives in London with his wife and no dog – yet.
