Holly is 16 and studying for her GCSEs at school in Leeds.

She recently finished filming the seventh series of Waterloo Road, in which she has appeared as series regular Sam Kelly for the last four series.

Holly also played the title role in Abi Morgan’s drama White Girl directed by Hettie Macdonald and starring opposite Anna Maxwell Martin and Daniel Mays. White Girl received the BAFTA Television Award for Best Single Drama in 2009 and Holly's performance gained the following reviews:

Prior to this, she was cast from school as the role of Kimberley Crabtree in Penny Woolcock’s Mischief Nights. Since then she has also filmed Screen Yorkshire’s Me Head’s A Shed as the role of Rina directed by Marco van Belle.
