James Erskine

James Erskine is an award-winning writer, director and producer.

As well as directing on a number of well-known UK drama series such as Torchwood and Robin Hood he has a highly successful track record in factual programmes, directing and producing award winning documentaries including his Emmy nominated The Human Face, the acclaimed Who Killed the Honey Bee? and the feature documentary One Night in Turin, which was released nationwide in the run up to the World Cup 2010.

In May 2011, James's film From the Ashes which chronicles the remarkable Ashes test series between Australia and English in 1981 opened in cinemas across the country to great critical acclaim.
