James King

James King is the presenter of The Movie Show on ITV2.

He was formerly the voice of film on Radio One for ten years, reviewing the latest movies with Greg James every Friday, and films and DVDs with Edith Bowman on both her weekend breakfast shows. He has also been a regular on ITV at the Movies and London Tonight, as well as Sky 1’s Angela and Friends. And he has presented the Early Breakfast Show, Bank Holiday soundtrack specials and several all-night Academy Award programmes.

James's work on Radio One was nominated for a prestigious Sony Award in 2004, and he is a regular face on film documentaries including The 100 Greatest Films, The Real Winona Ryder, Shawshank: The Redeeming Feature (all Channel 4), Best Ever Bond (ITV1), 20 Best Movie Love Scenes (Five) and Celebrity Mingers (Sky One). He has appeared as a film expert on shows as varied as Richard & Judy (Channel 4) and The Daily Politics (BBC2) and hosts press conferences and audience Q & A sessions with film-makers and actors.

He was voted on of the Top 100 Most Influential People in Film by the Guardian.
