Biography

Jason is best known to UK and Australian audiences for his controversial role as the Judge that everyone listens to on the hit show Dancing On Ice for ITV. However it is his participation on Queer Eye For The Straight Guy UK, Red Carpet Moments and Specials on E! Entertainment that have given him a truly international audience in 120 countries.

Whilst performing in Sir Trevor Nunn's award winning Anything Goes in 2004, he was cast as the Culture Expert on the UK version of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. Jason was soon see on E! Entertainment covering the red carpet for all London film premieres. This in turn led him to co-hosting specials for the Academy Awards, BAFTAs and two exclusive interviews with the legendary Hugh Hefner at the infamous Playboy mansion.

Jason's distinctive flair for fashion, sharp eye and colourfully honest opinions landed him on board ITV's This Morning, critiquing the style attempts of celebrities for a segment called Beat the Stylist. This was followed up with the new segment Dancing With Jason.

Summer 2011 saw Jason as Head judge on ITV's brand new show Born To Shine. Hosted by Natasha Kamplinsky it showcased the inspirational talents of the youth throughout the UK as they mentored celebrities who competed for a place in the final. The show raised a staggering £1.5 million for Save The Children.

Jason took part in Discovery Channel’s Alone In The Wild in July 2012. Completely alone with no crew, food or water, Jason not only completed the challenge but caught the most food out of any of the other participants who took part in this ground breaking series.

Jason then went on to star in Aladdin as the wicked Abanazar which marked his panto debut for Qdos Entertainment. Jason returned to TV as a panellist for TLC’s Shopaholic Showdown alongside Holly Valance and Brix Smith Start and as a judge on a new ITV dance show Stepping Out with Mel B and hosted by Davina McCall.

October 2013 saw Jason attempt to bake for BBC’s Sport Relief British Bake Off followed by the final series of ITV’s Dancing On Ice. After 9 years it will be remembered as one of the UK's best TV shows earning a prestigious TRIC Award. Jason has since choreographed the upcoming Brit film comedy Meet Pursuit Delange.
