Jenna Bailey

Jenna Bailey is from Sturgeon County in Alberta, Canada. She studied History at Queen's University in Ontario, Canada, where she developed her love of reading letters from the past. This led her to the University of Sussex and the Mass Observation Archive where she found the papers of the Cooperative Correspondence Club (CCC).

She set about finding the members of the CCC, and their families, to piece together the story of this remarkable group of women. Three years later, the final result can be found in her book, Can Any Mother Help Me? released by Faber and Faber in 2007 to stunning reviews. She is currently working on a new project entitled Ivy Benson and Her Big Band.
