Jenny is an award-winning director who comes from a documentary background. She has made films of different genres all over the world- from politics to arts to historical drama. She also helped launch the United Nation's TV arm in the former Yugoslavia during the conflicts there.
She has recently completed work on a landmark drama documentary series introduced by Barak Obama tracing the history of America from Jamestown to 1945. Her film about slavery and the run up to the civil war was nominated for a 2010 International Emmy.
In 2008 Jenny moved into directing drama, working on BBC1's Waterloo Road before directing Personal Affairs for BBC3, Missing for BBC1 and Me and all the Other Mothers, a comedy pilot for BBC3.
She is also developing her first feature film about the year Bob Marley spent in London in 1977.
