This BAFTA winning drama was writer Joe Fisher's breakout script in which the viewer is transported into the world of Dean, a profoundly deaf young man accused of murdering his flatmate. As the case continues Dean's relationship with his sign language interpreter, Penny, develops and their secret affair soon has them questioning each others motives.
Critically acclaimed, the drama was shortlisted for the Prix Geneve Award and won the RADAR Media award for its contribution to raising awareness and furthering the human rights of disabled people. Writer Joe, director Ed Coulthard and star Jospeh Mawle were all praised for the authenticity in their protrayal of the deaf community whilst producting a compelling drama.
